Blogging University Everyday Inspiration Day 20

WOW! The time flew by!

I know I’m a few days late, but I finally made it to the end. The only one I haven’t done is Day 19, which I will be working on next. (I’m bonkers as you know).

I learned a lot.

  • Styles of writing
  • Poetry, I still don’t get the hang of it. This is a challenge for me. I always thought poetry had to rhyme but it doesn’t. So the more I read from persons I follow, starting to understand a little bit more.
  • There are so many great bloggers on Daily Prompts. Happy, sad, caring, informative, story form of writing, poetry, daily life, family life and a little of everything that goes on in life, not life, imagination, fantasy, drama, etc.
  • The bloggers I follow have different ideas, styles, vocal points, creators, writers from all walks of life from young to seniors like me.
  • I have learned a lot since I started blogging last year. Not only blogging, but the way the world lives today. What’s happening on the other side of the world or across the street from where I live.  How people react to different generations Daily Prompts has.

If computers would have started eons ago when I was younger I could have been a female computer whiz. Hmmm! When the heck did personal computers even start? That’s another subject, for another day.

Keep an open mind and learn from others.

Have a great day! Hope

Blogging University Everyday Inspiration Day 18

Hmmm! I have to really think about this one.

When you watch a movie or read a book do you ever put yourself in there as an invisible character, a guard to watch over the ones that can’t fight for themselves. How about making sure hair, makeup, shoes, clothes, pictures, sound is okay for production.

Or do you place yourself as a director, producer, graphic person, costume designer.

What is the genre you like the most?

Me I like fantasy, dark fantasy, action, adventure, animation, spy films, historical drama, science fiction. If you like imagination, ingenuity, visualization, illusion, originality you know which pictures you love yourself.

  1. i.e. Ms. Pergerine’s Home For Peculiar Children
  2. Guardians Of The Galaxy
  3. Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2
  4. Transformers
  5. Ghostbusters
  6. The Mummy
  7. Moana
  8. Alice In Wonderland
  9. Alice Through The Looking Glass
  10. The Fifth Element
  11. Hellboy I & II
  12. Ant-Man
  13. Suicide Squad
  14. Jurassic World

There are move coming out this year, won’t be able to see at the show. I will be waiting for them to come on TV.  And I know you can guess which genres I like.

  • There are many, many other movies genres I like, if I added them this blog would be twenty (20) pages long.
  • That’s a lot of reading
  • Plus a lot of typing, corrections, reviewing, more typing, more corrections, more reviewing before I publish my post.

I don’t want to bore anyone, including myself.

You may not agree with me, but that’s okay, in fact super okay! Everyone has their own thoughts, tastes, genres they love. If we were all the same – WE WOULD BE SOOOO BORING!!!!

Have a great day! Hope betty boop8 I love this phase!

Blogging University Everyday Inspiration Day 17

Hi everyone! Are your ready for a whirlwind trip? Get ready here we go!

  1. Take a cab to O’Hare airport located in Chicago, IL USA. Go to International area, check baggage, passport checked, call for boarding and we have take off.
  2. Next stop Rhyl, Wales, UK
  3. WOW! This a long, long, long flight. It’s time for another walk down the airplane aisle. You have to keep your circulation going. Plus if you are older (I’m a couple of eons old) your bones get stiff and creaky if you don’t move.
  4. I’m getting so excited, we are now landing.
  5. Off the plane, going through their security, getting luggage, getting in cab and off to the hotel.
  6. Now in hotel, unpacking, taking a nap, now getting something to eat and find out where we are going tomorrow.
  7. I know where I’m going. Hopefully will see the rabbit. Rabbit that’s right, the one from Alice In Wonderland. Just in case you didn’t know I have another site called “Bonkers Away”.

Yes! You got it! I’m on the trail of the Mad Hatter, Chess (Cheshire cat),

Mallymkum (the Dormouse),  Baynard the hound, Queen of Hearts, Absolem (caterpillar), White Queen and the rest of the troop.

  • Now are you wondering how do I know where to go?
  • Well I received an invitation from Chess, Mallymkum, Baynard and Absolem to celebrate Mad Hatter’s 152 years young birthday. There is a map inside which I can not show anyone else.
  • I’m all set to meet the Hatter, give him a surprise gift I know he will love. And of course to meet everyone else.

Have a great day! Hope

Blogging University Day 16

Below is a blog that’s still in my storage area from healthandbeautystop.net.

healthy hair part 3Healthy Hair Part 3

This is part 3 of  Healthy Hair from WikiHow.com

healthy hair part 3From: hope hope Watching what you eat, drinking water, exercise believe it or not makes a difference even for your hair.

Eat nutrients that nourish your hair. A well-balanced diet with plenty of protein, vitamin B, iron, and omega-3s helps your hair stay as thick and healthy as possible.

Vitamin B keeps hair thick and strong. Eat plenty of fruits, vegetables and nuts to get enough vitamin B.

Eat beef, chicken, pork, fish and leafy greens like kale and spinach to get iron and protein.

Salmon, walnuts, and avocados are excellent sources of omega-3s, which help your hair stay shiny and healthy.

You can supplement your diet with vitamins designed to make hair stronger. Try prenatal vitamins, which contain a mix of ingredients that lead to great hair, nails and skin.

Protect your hair from the elements. Just as you would protect your skin from sun, wind, and cold temperatures, you need to protect your hair as well. If you don’t, it will dry out and become brittle over time.

When the sun is strong, wear a hat healthy hair part 3or scarf over your hair to protect it from getting too fried.

Don’t go outside during the winter with wet hair. When your hair freezes it can get brittle and frayed.

You should also protect your hair from chemicals. Don’t expose your hair to chlorine too often. When you go swimming, wear a swim cap.

Get your hair trimmed often. As soon as your ends begin to split, go to the salon and get a trim. healthy hair part 3Keeping your hair trimmed will make sure the ends don’t split very far up the shaft. Your hair will be less likely to break, and it will look healthy and full of life.

Have a great day! hope hope healthy hair part 3

The Movie  – Ms. Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children

I wasn’t able to go to the show for this movie. Come to think of it, it’s been awhile that I even went to see a movie. I watched it on TV and I must say I found it very enjoyable, kept me  in suspense. Fictional town of Cairnholm in Wales. Too bad they didn’t use sections of Wales by the ocean.

What I don’t understand is why it didn’t last at the shows that long? If you’re not into fantasy with unbelievable characters, great acting, not crazy about things with imagination then this movie was not for you.

Ms. Peregrine played by Eva Green (she played in Penny Dreadful).  She is a Ymbryne which is a particular kind of peculiar that can change into one kind of bird and can create and maintain a time loop.

Judi Dench Miss Avocet is also a Ymbryne.

Samuel L. Jackson is Mr. Barron played as a “Wight”. Image result for miss peregrine mr barronTo find out what a “Wight” is you will have to watch the movie or read the book.

Asa Butterfield is Jacob Portman — A 16-year-old American teenager and the protagonist of the story. Jacob encountered the peculiar children’s orphanage run by Miss Peregrine after his grandfather Abraham is killed by a monster.

Pixie Davies is Bronwyn Bruntley — She appears as a young adolescent. Bronwyn is imbued with incredible strength like her brother Victor. She is considered another motherly figure apart from Miss Peregrine for the younger children like Olive and Claire in the books. Bronwyn is extremely loyal and kind-hearted and will do anything for her friends.

For more excitement, fantasy, time loops either see the movie on TV or read the book. Don’t forget to check more books written by Ransom Riggs.

Hmmmm! What should I write about?

I would love to write a story about thoughts I have had off and on. The words are in my head, but when it comes to writing my brain goes – poof – it just evaporated.

Let me give it a try.

A few years ago I got a cat named Ginger Mae. She was a beautiful Calico. I swear Family pictures 006until the day she died her certain spots would change color or would stay the same color but get larger.
Ginger was a talker. And I do mean talker! She had an opinion for everything. When my son came home from work and didn’t say hello to her, she went after him and letting him know he forgot about her.

I always wanted to write a mystery book about her helping me solve problems, Spying Girl_3situations, strange noises either inside or outside our building. We live in a condo complex, our building has sixty (60) condo units. There should be a lot to write about – but like I said – my brain goes poof.

Now I have a male cat named Milo, he is a domestic short hair. So let’s see what domestic short hairs are all about.

From Catster.com:
Domestic Shorthairs are of mixed ancestry, so their temperaments can be hard to predict. Some cats are quiet and docile while others are more active and vocal. Some are affectionate, while others are independent. Most are playful when they are young. Some enjoy the company of children and other pets.

  • IMG_1576Take a guess at which temperament Milo has.
    • Come on now – take a guess????
    • If you guessed active, vocal – you are CORRECT. Gold star for you!
      • This is where Milo throws a curve ball. He is both independent, affectionate, (it depends on how Milo feels that day.
    • And can’t leave off very playful. He’s still considered a kitten until at least four (4) years old.

Now see that! I did it again! Instead of writing a mystery story, I wrote about Ginger Mae and Milo. And I’m glad I did. I hope you enjoyed it.

Have a great day! Hope 1258127619992355676j4p4n_Thinking_Woman_-_7.svg.hi
