Blogging University Everyday Inspiration Day 19

Hello Everyone! This is my final day of Blogging U. Everyday Inspiration Day 19. It took me awhile to think of what to do for this lesson. I hope you enjoy it.

As stated before I have learned a lot from the bloggers I have met since I started. If you are wondering who they are please read below:

The above are only a few of whom I follow.

Do I like all of their work? Not always. And they don’t like all of mine.

Which is what we are all about.

Ages – pick a number from 22 years to ???? years.

Thank you to everyone that has read my Everyday Inspirations!

Have a great day! Hope

Blogging University Everyday Inspiration Day 20

WOW! The time flew by!

I know I’m a few days late, but I finally made it to the end. The only one I haven’t done is Day 19, which I will be working on next. (I’m bonkers as you know).

I learned a lot.

  • Styles of writing
  • Poetry, I still don’t get the hang of it. This is a challenge for me. I always thought poetry had to rhyme but it doesn’t. So the more I read from persons I follow, starting to understand a little bit more.
  • There are so many great bloggers on Daily Prompts. Happy, sad, caring, informative, story form of writing, poetry, daily life, family life and a little of everything that goes on in life, not life, imagination, fantasy, drama, etc.
  • The bloggers I follow have different ideas, styles, vocal points, creators, writers from all walks of life from young to seniors like me.
  • I have learned a lot since I started blogging last year. Not only blogging, but the way the world lives today. What’s happening on the other side of the world or across the street from where I live.  How people react to different generations Daily Prompts has.

If computers would have started eons ago when I was younger I could have been a female computer whiz. Hmmm! When the heck did personal computers even start? That’s another subject, for another day.

Keep an open mind and learn from others.

Have a great day! Hope

Blogging University Everyday Inspiration Day 17

Hi everyone! Are your ready for a whirlwind trip? Get ready here we go!

  1. Take a cab to O’Hare airport located in Chicago, IL USA. Go to International area, check baggage, passport checked, call for boarding and we have take off.
  2. Next stop Rhyl, Wales, UK
  3. WOW! This a long, long, long flight. It’s time for another walk down the airplane aisle. You have to keep your circulation going. Plus if you are older (I’m a couple of eons old) your bones get stiff and creaky if you don’t move.
  4. I’m getting so excited, we are now landing.
  5. Off the plane, going through their security, getting luggage, getting in cab and off to the hotel.
  6. Now in hotel, unpacking, taking a nap, now getting something to eat and find out where we are going tomorrow.
  7. I know where I’m going. Hopefully will see the rabbit. Rabbit that’s right, the one from Alice In Wonderland. Just in case you didn’t know I have another site called “Bonkers Away”.

Yes! You got it! I’m on the trail of the Mad Hatter, Chess (Cheshire cat),

Mallymkum (the Dormouse),  Baynard the hound, Queen of Hearts, Absolem (caterpillar), White Queen and the rest of the troop.

  • Now are you wondering how do I know where to go?
  • Well I received an invitation from Chess, Mallymkum, Baynard and Absolem to celebrate Mad Hatter’s 152 years young birthday. There is a map inside which I can not show anyone else.
  • I’m all set to meet the Hatter, give him a surprise gift I know he will love. And of course to meet everyone else.

Have a great day! Hope

“Faithless is he that says farewell when the road darkens.”

— J.R.R. Tolkien, The Fellowship of the Ring

This saying really, really makes you think!

What it means to me is that when you lost your faith, your road becomes very dark, and you cannot find your way back to the light.

I once trusted you with my heart, but then you turned around and gave your love to someone else.

She was my business partner and friend! Then I found out how she was stealing from our business venture we had together.

He told me, he could not trust his youngest brother. I asked him why. He said it was too hard to talk about and all he would say was his brother was untrustworthy in no matter what he did.

Have a great day! Hope

  • Have you ever wondered if you might travel around the world?
    • It doesn’t have to be in eighty (80) days!
  • How many days do you think it would take you?
  •    How many nights will you stay in each country? Will you sleep in hotels?  Or somewhere else?
  • How would you understand all the different languages?
  • What type of money is used in each country you go to?
    • Do you think some countries may use the same, especially if they are next to each other?
  • Is there a country or maybe a couple of countries you want to visit and stay longer?
  • Going with a relative(s)?
  • Going with a friend(s)?
  • Or are you braving this trip on your own?
  • How many maps would you need to travel around the world?
  • Will you have a guide waiting for you in each country when you land?
  • How much will it cost you to travel from here USA to your first country you will land in?
    • How will you travel to the other countries? Plane, train, automobile, camel, horse, donkey, foot? Oh! Your more feet!
    • Are some right next to each other?
  • Is your passport up to date?
  • Do you have a transmitter to use in countries that have no phone reception?
  • What information do you need?
  • Do you have all your shots to travel in each country?

My head is spinning with more questions, but that’s it for me right now.

Have a great day! Hope

Hmmmm! What should I write about?

I would love to write a story about thoughts I have had off and on. The words are in my head, but when it comes to writing my brain goes – poof – it just evaporated.

Let me give it a try.

A few years ago I got a cat named Ginger Mae. She was a beautiful Calico. I swear Family pictures 006until the day she died her certain spots would change color or would stay the same color but get larger.
Ginger was a talker. And I do mean talker! She had an opinion for everything. When my son came home from work and didn’t say hello to her, she went after him and letting him know he forgot about her.

I always wanted to write a mystery book about her helping me solve problems, Spying Girl_3situations, strange noises either inside or outside our building. We live in a condo complex, our building has sixty (60) condo units. There should be a lot to write about – but like I said – my brain goes poof.

Now I have a male cat named Milo, he is a domestic short hair. So let’s see what domestic short hairs are all about.

Domestic Shorthairs are of mixed ancestry, so their temperaments can be hard to predict. Some cats are quiet and docile while others are more active and vocal. Some are affectionate, while others are independent. Most are playful when they are young. Some enjoy the company of children and other pets.

  • IMG_1576Take a guess at which temperament Milo has.
    • Come on now – take a guess????
    • If you guessed active, vocal – you are CORRECT. Gold star for you!
      • This is where Milo throws a curve ball. He is both independent, affectionate, (it depends on how Milo feels that day.
    • And can’t leave off very playful. He’s still considered a kitten until at least four (4) years old.

Now see that! I did it again! Instead of writing a mystery story, I wrote about Ginger Mae and Milo. And I’m glad I did. I hope you enjoyed it.

Have a great day! Hope 1258127619992355676j4p4n_Thinking_Woman_-_7.svg.hi

If I had more time I could write about; 1226202603516597231sheikh_tuhin_Diary.svg.hi

  • png_Rain-CloudWeather
  • Home Care
  • Detective stories Spying Girl_3using my cat Ginger (she passed, but gives, Milo & me a helping hand, oops should be paw.
  • Pull all documents together, put in order, add notations what they are for
  • Strange/odd things I have seen or have happened to me
  • The true meaning about “bonkers”. Yes I am “bonkers”!
    • From Alice In Wonderland:
    • mad hatterThe MAD HATTER: Have I gone MAD?
    • ALICE: I’m afraid so. You’re entirely “bonkers”.
    • But I’ll tell you a secret.
      • All the BEST people are.
  • My dreams
  • My favorite to write about is – What I want to do when I grow up! cute_baby_girl_with_red_hair_and_pink_bow

I wish I could write all day BUT that would truly burn me out. Like everyone else I have daily chores. I think I’m going to have a normal day and all of a sudden, something comes up and I’m out the door. I love to knit hats, scarves, finger-less gloves and that keeps me busy in the evenings.

  • To me writing takes me longer to process than others – why – you ask?
    • Well I like to use clip art and photos to go along with what I am writing.
    • And of course proof it a few times.

I do hope people enjoy my blogs, puts a smile on their face, say to themselves this person is really “bonkers”.

Have a great day! Hope 1258127619992355676j4p4n_Thinking_Woman_-_7.svg.hi

Everyday Inspiration #8

To look back when I was ten (10) years old.

When I was 10 years old, I was in “Parochial” aka “Catholic”. My father had died the year before, which made me 9 years old.  Hey, I can still do math pretty good. I’m seventy (70) now.

  • waitressMy mom was a waitress which back then just didn’t mean serving people. It also included stopping at the bakery, start up the huge coffee machines, wipe down all the counters, utensil setups for customers, washing dishing.
    • Wow! All that for .50¢ or .75¢ an hour. Tips back then are nothing like they are now. If she made $2.00 for one (1) day that was a huge, huge, huge, huge!
    • Remember tips could range from .1¢ to maybe .50¢.
    • Thank you to all that helped my mom out with their tips. We wouldn’t have survived without them.
  • One day a man left her a penny – YEP you heard me a penny – aka – cent piece – aka .1¢. One of the men that worked with him said “you have to be kidding”. With everything that waitress does for you everyday of the week and you only left her a penny. Thank you to the gentleman that said that. My mom told me that was probably all he could afford.
    • clipart-cute-shy-girl-smiley-emoticon-512x512-65b4“Mom! You know where he works, I think he could leave at least .2¢. We both laughed.clipart-girl-wearing-pink-glasses-smiley-emoticon-512x512-82b9
  • Out of my mom’s salary she had to pay rent, food, my education, weekly donations to the church. After my father died she had hospital bills, funeral, cemetery, headstone costs. My dad was buried in the poor side of the cemetery.
    • The church told my mom she didn’t have to pay for the plot.
    • But my mom insisted she would pay them back, so one could be donated to a family that really needed it.
    • That was my mom! woman winking

I remember after church on Sunday we were stop at the little deli in our neighbor, pick up a loaf of round rye bread, go home have some coffee, cut a slice of bread, add butter and jelly. Yum! I can taste it now. That was our meal for the day. Coffee-Download-PNG

We had good times and of course not so good times.

When someone dies you find out a lot of how people felt about them. What I found out about my relatives and how they felt about my dad, I wanted nothing to do with them. But over the years it started to change. They realized what they did. It wasn’t easy for me, but I knew it was making my mom happy.

  • old-outline-lady-woman-face-fashion-cartoon-freeMom I sure do miss you!
  • Love your loving daughter, Hope
